My Home

DeviantART has been my home on the internet since 2002. Way before I was a member I used to sit and stare for ours at the multitudes of amazing work that the artists on the site had chosen to share with me. This was the reason that I decided to join, so that I could be a part of that. I wanted to be able to help do the same thing for otehr people as these artists had done for me. Even if not directly through my own art, but through my involvement in the community.

I have personally had the experience of being part of why I am so proud of this community. On a random trip to the forums sometime in 04, I took the time to stop and help a brand new deviant asking a question. I didn't think much of it, just glad I could try to help solve a probem.

Not long ago, I bumped into a fellow deviant somewhere onsite. It was the same deviant I had helped over a year ago. She remembered me and the help that I had given her. Where is she now? One of the biggest participants I've seen in the community, always helping deviants young or old. It made me so proud of the community we have built.

You all have made this place feel like the home it is, and you fellow deviants are like family to me. No matter what else changes, this place was so cool because we made it that way, don't let that change.
